Killarney Vale is a small suburb along the shores of Tuggerah Lake – the Council recently built a bridge over Saltwater Creek and a boardwalk on the point, at the eastern end of Lucinda Avenue. Thought we’d check it out. We found if your turned down Tuggerah Parade, Long Jetty (the next suburb) , head towards the water, you’ll find a couple of parking areas – one for the Saltwater Reserve and parkland area (where we parked), and the other near the boat ramp. Walk towards the Lake, then you’ll see the bridge on your left. Cross the bridge to wander along the boardwalk. All very new at the moment, think it will look quite good once the plants have gown.
